our commitment to driving business growth while generating positive change in the world
At Mondelez International, we are taking strong and proactive actions to support the containment of COVID-19, whilst focusing on maintaining operations to supply supermarkets across Australia and New Zealand.
With almost a century of making some of the most loved foods, our business has been a staple of pantries through several national challenges and emergencies, including the Great Depression and a World War.
We have a proud history of making delicious and high-quality foods that consumers can depend upon. We’ve seen consumers turn to our products in recent weeks with high demand for our most trusted brands, including Cadbury, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and BelVita biscuits.
To bring our locally made products to Australian and Kiwi consumers, we partner with over 1,000 local suppliers. We buy about 10% of Tasmania’s milk and process it in our Burnie dairy, while 100% of the sugar in our chocolate comes from Queensland farmers.
During this time we are continuing to collaborate closely with both the Australian and New Zealand Governments, along with other health authorities and institutions.
We are supporting global relief efforts, through our various philanthropic community partners including Save the Children and Red Cross globally, and FoodBank here locally.
March 23, 2020, we announced the donation of US $15 million in the bid to advance critical food stability and emergency relief efforts across the world.
